FAQ
Q. What does Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) do?
Q. What does Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) do?
Lefresh pads absorb menstrual blood in three steps:
1. Organic cotton top sheet from Texas quickly
absorbs and spreads the blood through the ADL sheet.
2. A pulp layer absorbs it again.
3. A very small amount (under 0.6g) of premium,
non-toxic SAP used in baby diapers is included to prevent
rewetting and side leakage.
SAP comes in different grades, and overuse of low-quality SAP can cause discomfort.
Some claim SAP-free pads are safer,
but such ads can be considered misleading by Korean health authorities.
Lefresh uses only a small amount of high-quality SAP for added safety and comfort.
Q. What if I find fine threads or small spots on the pad?
Q. What if I find fine threads or small spots on the pad?
Thin threads may appear due to how the roll-type materials are connected,
and small spots can come from parts of the organic cotton.
These are not impurities. While chlorine bleaching can make them invisible,
Lefresh uses eco-friendly peroxide bleaching,
so such natural marks may remain visible.
Q. Is this an eco-friendly, biodegradable organic pad?
Q. Is this an eco-friendly, biodegradable organic pad?
Unfortunately, no disposable pad is fully biodegradable.
Some materials may be biodegradable or compostable,
but it’s not enough to label the entire pad as such.
However, Lefresh takes mindful steps for the environment—like using
non-woven fabric instead of plastic for individual
wrappers and avoiding printed logos.
Q. The product name on the shipping label is different from what I ordered. Why?
Q. The product name on the shipping label is different from what I ordered. Why?
To protect your privacy,
Lefresh uses abbreviations instead of full product names on the shipping label.
With our discreet delivery service,
you can receive your order with confidence—whether at home or at work.
Q. What is the shelf life of a sanitary pad and how should I store it?
Q. What is the shelf life of a sanitary pad and how should I store it?
Pads have a shelf life of 3 years from the manufacturing date.
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For best freshness,
use an airtight container—and if you’re concerned about moisture,
adding a dehumidifier packet can help.
